We believe ...

In one eternal God; existing in three Persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. (more...)
That the Bible is God's inspired Word; accurate, authoritative & applicable to our everyday lives. (more...)
That by faith in Jesus Christ alone we are reconciled to God the Father. (more...)
That Jesus alone lived a sinless and exemplary life, died on the cross in our place, and rose again to life in victory over death and sin. (more...)
That sin has separated each of us from God and His purpose for our lives. (more...)
That to receive forgiveness and a 'new life' we must repent of our sins, believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and submit to His will for our lives. (more...)
That we should be baptised in water as a mark of our new life. (more...)
That we can and should be filled with the Holy spirit as a seal of our new life. (more...)
That we should live in the holiness of our new life. (more...)
That together we are the Church, the body of Christ, so we should regularly meet together for fellowship, prayer and the 'breaking of bread'. (more...)
That our eternal destination (Heaven or hell) is determined by our response to the Lord Jesus Christ. (more...)

In more detail ...

We believe in the triune, eternal living God who has revealed Himself as one being co-existing in three Persons – Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Deuteronomy 6:4, Mark 12:29, John 10:30, John 14:9, John 4:24.

We believe that the Bible (Old and New Testaments) is the inspired Word of God and is all we need for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in all righteousness. 2 Timothy 3:15-16, 2 Peter 1:21.

We believe in salvation through faith in Jesus Christ alone. We believe that He died for our sins, was buried and was raised from the dead on the third day, and that through His shed blood all believers have a restored relationship with God. Isaiah 53, Titus 2:11, Titus 3:5-7, 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18, 1 Corinthians 15:3-4.

We believe Jesus is the Christ, the promised Messiah. We believe in the Virgin Birth, Sinless Life, Miraculous Ministry, Substitutionary Atoning Death, Bodily Resurrection, Triumphant Ascension and Abiding Intercession of the Lord Jesus Christ. We believe He will return in power and glory at the close of the human age. Isaiah 7:14, Matthew 1:23, Hebrews 7:26, 1 Peter 2:22, Acts 10:38, 2 Corinthians 5:21, Hebrews 9:12, Luke 24:39, 1 Corinthians 15:4, Acts 1:9, Ephesians 4:8-10, Romans 8:34, Hebrews 7:25, 1 Corinthians 15:22-24, Revelation 20:1-6.

We believe humans were created pure and upright, but all people are inherently sinful due to the sin of Adam and Eve. Genesis 1:26-31, Genesis 3:1-7, Isaiah 53:6, Romans 5:12-21.

We know salvation as the new birth, an instantaneous and complete operation of the Holy Spirit as a response to expressed faith in Jesus. John 3:5-6, James 1:18, 1 Peter 1:23, 1 John 5:1.

We believe that all who have truly repented and believed in Christ as Lord and Saviour are commanded to be baptised by immersion in water. Matt. 28:19, Acts 10:47-48, Acts 2:38-39.

We believe in the baptism in the Holy Spirit available for all believers giving power for service. Acts 1:4-8, Acts 2:4, Acts 10:44-47, Acts 19:6.

We believe in that the gifts of the Holy Spirit are all available to the Church today, just as they were to the Church of the first century. Acts 2:38-39, 1 Corinthians 12:4-11.

We believe in holiness of life and conduct in obedience to the command of God. 1 Peter 1:14-16, Hebrews 12:14, 1 John 2:6.

We believe that deliverance from sickness, by Divine Healing is provided for by the atoning death of Jesus. Isaiah 53:4-5, Matthew 8:16-17, James 5:13-16.

We believe that all who have truly repented and believe in Christ as Lord and Saviour should regularly participate in Breaking of Bread. Luke 22:14-20, 1 Corinthians 11:20-34.

We believe in the bodily resurrection of all men, the everlasting conscious bliss of all who truly believe in our Lord Jesus Christ and the everlasting conscious punishment of all whose names are not written in the Book of Life. Daniel 12:2-3, John 5:28-29, 1 Corinthians 15:22-24, Matthew 25:46, 2 Thessalonians 1:9, Revelation 20:10-15.
